F3 – Joel Eriksson wins C2 at Silverstone

Joel Eriksson (Motopark) dominated Race 2 of the F3 European Championship at Silverstone (Great Britain). The Swede took the advantage over pole sitter Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) and took advantage of the poor start of Lando Norris (Carlin), the winner of Race 1, who fell to 8th position.

The Scandinavian finally won with a lead of more than 2 seconds over the Briton, while it was Jake Hughes (Hitech GP) who completed the podium after starting from 5th place. He notably took the advantage over Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) who retained his 4th place at the start.

Jake Dennis (Carlin) completed the top five after a great battle with Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam). The son of the seven-time world champion took revenge on his teammate Guanyu-Zhou who followed him in 7th position. Lando Norris ultimately had to settle for 9th place behind his teammate Jehan Daruvala.

Race 3 of the F3 European Championship will be contested this Sunday April 16 from 10 a.m. (French time).
