F3: Juncadella big pole winner of the weekend

On a circuit refurbished by the famous Dietrich Mateschitz, president of Red Bull, Daniel Juncadella flew through the qualifying session of F3 Euro Series. The Prema Powerteam driver achieved the two best times of the session and will start from pole for Race 1 and Race 3.

Daniel Juncadella confirms that he feels comfortable on this route. “For me, it's a superb circuit, especially in the last corner. We didn't take any risks during the tests, just finishing our program. I am now in the best position to win as many races as possible here. »

But the Prema Powerteam driver will have to be wary of his fellow F3 Euro Series Championship leader Roberto Merhi, who will start from 2nd and 3rd place in both races. Felix Rosenqvist will also be one to watch, the Mücke Motorsport driver having set the 4th and 2nd fastest times in qualifying. Marco Wittmann (Signature), the winner of the Pau GP in F3 International Trophy, will also compete for victory, starting from 3rd and 5th places.
