F3 – Victory for Rosenqvist, titles for Juncadella

Felix Rosenqvist ends the seasons F3 on a very good note at Hockenheim by securing his second victory of the weekend. After his first success in Race 1, the Swede retained his pole advantage by resisting Daniel Juncadella's attack at the start and led the race in the lead to take another first step. Mücke Motorsport signs another double with the second place of Pscal Wehrlein who defeated the Championship leader on the seventh lap. Alex Lynn (Fortec Motorsport) completes the podium after also gaining an advantage over the Hispanic driver, but the points for third place go to the latter, with the Briton not eligible for points.

Daniel Juncadella won his F3 Euro Series and FIA F3 Championship titles at the end of a complicated weekend for the Prema Powerteam resident. After suffering from mechanical problems during the two races on Saturday, the Spaniard secured a fourth place allowing him to secure his coronations. This success allows him to access a test F1 with the Team as well as a test F2 offered to the top three in the FIA F3 Championship. The Spaniard is ahead of Pascal Wehrlein by 11 points in the F3 Euro Series and Raffaele Marciello by 23,5 points in the FIA F3 Championship, with Felix Rosenqvist completing the top three in the standings. The Italian had distinguished himself the day before by taking victory in Race 2, but the teammate of the new champion was only able to take eighth place today.
