F3 – Lance Stroll will miss the Macau GP

Lance stroll will not be present at the Macau Grand Prix (China). The new champion of F3 European Championship confirmed his absence from the Imola paddock where he secured the title by winning two of the three races of the weekend. Those around him mentioned “other commitments” to explain his withdrawal from the race held on the weekend of November 20.

This announcement further reinforces speculation about the arrival of the Canadian as a starter at Williams Racing to replace Felipe Massa who will retire at the end of the season.

Lance Stroll will be able to obtain his superlicense in F1 at the end of the month since he will celebrate his 18th birthday on October 29, a month before the last Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
