F3 – Lance Stroll resists Hubert

Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) won another victory at the end of Race 3 of the F3 European Championship at the Norisring. The Canadian took advantage of the numerous interruptions in the race caused by collisions to maintain his position, even if Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) remained threatening in his mirrors until the checkered flag.

The Championship leader leaves the Norisring 86 points ahead of his teammate Maximilian Günther, fifth in the race, while Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) finished seventh following his ten-place grid penalty for an engine change at the beginning of the weekend.

Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) completed the podium after taking the lead over Maximilian Günther at the start of the race and resisting attacks from Guan Yu Zhou (Motopark) who finished in fourth place. Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) took sixth place after starting from 19th position.

George Russell will have to move back five places on the grid for Race 1 at Zandvoort (Netherlands) on July 16 after hitting Joel Eriksson (Motopark) during the final event at the Norisring. The Briton hit the Swede when the two drivers were fighting for eighth place.
