F3 – Lynn moves to Euro Series with Prema

Since the withdrawal of the Signature team, the Prema Powerteam has become the indisputable reference in the European championship of Formula 3, as evidenced by his two consecutive driver titles (with Roberto Merhi and Daniel Juncadella), as well as his two consecutive team crowns. The Italian team hopes to continue its harvest of trophies in 2013. To do so, it will count on a 19-year-old Briton, Alex Lynn.

“We were lucky enough to be able to watch Alex race on some of the toughest circuits in the European F3 Championship, and we were impressed by his ability to fight at the front, underlines team principal Angelo Rosin. He subsequently carried out a test with us, and the first impressions proved that our impressions were not spoofed. Lynn is a real talent, and the right man to enable us to continue to be at the top of the European series, in a championship which looks set to be even more competitive next year. »

After starting in car in 2010, Alex Lynn won the Formula Renault 2.0 2011. This season he finished fourth in British F3, with one victory, two pole positions in nine podiums.
