F3 – Ocon wins 2 new poles at the Pau GP!

But where will it stop Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam)? The leader of the F3 European Championship took the other two poles of the weekend after dominating the first event. With a best time of 1’10”192, the Lotus resident F1 Team Junior was ahead of its rival by only 57 thousandths Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing), closest rival of his group. But it was Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) who was the biggest threat to the local driver, failing by only five thousandths!

The Swede was not more successful on the Race 3 grid determined by the second best laps. Esteban Ocon was again ahead of his Scandinavian rival by less than four hundredths and by half a tenth Max Verstappen who will start in both races ahead of Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) and Jake Dennis (Carlin).
