F3 – Raffaele Marciello shines at Silverstone

Raffaele Marciello took victory in the last race of the weekend of the F3 Euroepan Championship played at Silverstone. The Prema Powerteam driver beat Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) in the final laps, with both drivers taking the lead over pole sitter Alex Lynn (Prema Powerteam). The Swede had built up a good lead before the entry of the safety car ruined his efforts. The leader of the event gave in to the attacks of the resident of the Ferrari Driver Academy, who took advantage of the restart to overtake his teammate, making a mistake. The Italian thus achieved success and left Silverstone at the top of the Championship with 36,5 points ahead of the Scandinavian who finished outside the top ten.

Pascal Wehrlein (Mücke Motorsport) and Alex Lynn (Prema Powerteam) complete the podium ahead of Lucas Auer (Prema Powerteam) and Luis Felipe Derani (Fortec Motorsports). Harry Tincknell (Carlin), the winner of the first race of the weekend, took sixth place ahead of William Buller (Three Bond) and Eddie Cheever (Prema Powerteam).
