F3 – Stroll and Eriksson on pole at Hockenheim

Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) took pole in the first two races of the last meeting of the 2016 season of the F3 European Championship played in Hockenheim. The reigning champion took advantage of the disqualification of David Beckmann (Mücke Motorsport), author of the pole in Race 1 before being checked with a flat bottom not respecting the regulatory height.

The Canadian will therefore share the first row of the Race 1 grid with his teammate Maximilian Günther while Jake Hughes (Carlin) and Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) will start on the second row. With Ralf Aron's fifth position, the Italian team placed its four cars in the top five.

The contender for the position of replacing Felipe Massa at Williams won a new one in the second qualifying session and will start ahead of Jake Hughes and Joel Eriksson (Motopark). The Canadian managed to take pole for Race 3 on the second fastest lap and will start ahead of Jake Hughes and Callum Illott (Van Amersfoort Racing). Lance Stroll will start from fifth place behind Lando Norris (Pug).

Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) will start from 6th, 11th and 9th place during the three races of the weekend.
