F3 – Stroll and Günther make Prema shine at the Nürburgring

The championship leader Lance stroll hit hard again. The Prema Powerteam driver signed his eighth and ninth pole position this season in the European Championship. F3 at the end of the day's two qualifying sessions on the Nürburgring track.

Second time behind the Brazilian Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) in Q1, Stroll took advantage of the ten-place penalty inflicted on the rider of the fold Red Bull (for engine change during the Spa event in Belgium) to grab first place on the grid for the first race tomorrow.

Nick Cassidy and Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) complete the group effort of René Rosin's team. Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) will start the inaugural race of the weekend in the top 10.

The second qualifying session was also dominated by Stroll who took pole for race 2 by 105 thousandths ahead of his main championship rival Günther in 1'21″006. George Russell (Hitech GP) and Joel Eriksson (Motopark) will start from the second row ahead of Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) and Niko Kari (Motopark). Anthoine Hubert will start in ninth position.

Thanks to his second best time in Q2, Maximilian Günther will start on pole for the final confrontation of the weekend ahead of Lance Stroll. Hubert placed 11th.
