F3 – Stroll and Russell on pole in Belgium
Contested alongside the 24 Hours of Spa, the Belgian event of the European Championship F3 will Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) and George Russell (Hitech GP) start in pole position for the three races on the program.
If the Canadian had dominated the first session of the day, Russell hit hard in Q2 to win the last two poles at stake, under the rule of best and second best times.
In sight since the start of the runs in Belgium, Joel Eriksson (Motopark) will start on the front row of the last two races, after having been ahead Nikita mazepin (HitechGP) and Ben Barnicoat (HitechGP).
Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort) will start in 7th and 5th position in race 2 and race 3, when Stroll will start the second round in 11th place. The championship leader will start from ninth in C3.
