The two Ile-de-France residents will be the only French representatives in Formula 3 in 2022. We brought them together around a good meal, in an Italian restaurant in Paris, for a cross-interview where nostalgia and a spirit of frank camaraderie were mixed.

How long have you two known each other?

Isaac: Since 2012, I believe! It was in winter, at the Kartland track, in Moissy-Cramayel (Seine-et-Marne). I remember, I came there for the 4th time, I was 8 years old. My father bought me my mini-kart. There was another guy, who was in the youth category (the upper age category. Editor’s note). And it was Victor! It was his very first day on a kart, and I remember saying to myself: “ He's not great! "(Laughs) I was going faster, but by the afternoon, he was as fast as me, to say the least. I then thought: “ Oh yeah, he learns quickly”.
