FIA F3 World Cup – First news regarding the Flörsch crash

The headliner of the 65th Macau Grand Prix, the FIA ​​World Cup F3, was suddenly stopped by the race direction after 4 laps on Sunday. The German Sophia Florsch (Van Amersfoort Racing), qualified in 20th place, was the victim of a serious accident while braking in Lisboa, at the end of the main straight.

La car arrived at extremely high speed and took off on another pilot. The fence did not stop the car, which then hit a metal structure.

Update

Five people were taken to hospital following this accident: two pilots (including Sophia Flörsch), two photographers and a marshal. All were conscious when transferred by ambulance to hospital.
