Formula Regional Europe – Frederik Vesti inaugurates the prize list

Despite a relatively weak grid with only ten cars and six teams, the first race of the first round of Formula Regional Europe offered a great spectacle

Starting third behind his teammates Olli Caldwell and Enzo Fittipaldi, Dane Frederik Vesti won on the Paul-Ricard circuit with a 2" lead over his Brazilian teammate.

Prema Powerteam therefore signs a double in front of the Brazilian Igor Fraga, who defends the interests of DR Formula and who precedes Olli Caldwell and David at the finish. Schumacher (US Racing), who is none other than the son of Ralf Schumacher. Ninth on the starting grid, Sophia Flörsch finished in the same position.

As a reminder, the second race is scheduled for 14:55 p.m., the third tomorrow at 9:50 a.m., with Caldwell and Vesti as respective polemen.
