Pole position and victory on Saturday, pole position and victory on Sunday, Victor Martins left his rivals no chance during the Catalan meeting in Barcelona.
The French MP Motorsport driver scored a perfect score on the other side of the Pyrenees and took the opportunity to reduce the gap on Oscar piastri (R-ace GP), which retains control of the championship despite a mixed weekend.
Author of a good start this Sunday, Martins gradually widened the gap on the competition led by rookie Petr Ptacek (Bhaitech), and concluded with 7″ ahead of the Czech driver.
The latter signs his second podium of the season after Silverstone and is ahead of Oscar Piastri who limits the damage to the championship after a sixth place yesterday in race 1. The top 5 is completed by Lorenzo Colombo (MP Motorsport) and Alexander Smolyar (R-ace GP).
Victor Martins thus comes back to 12,5 points behind Oscar Piastri before the penultimate meeting of the season at Hockenheim in a week.
