HWA will enter FIA F2019 in 3

2019 will mark a real renewal for the FIA F3. Until now confined to the European continent, it will turn towards the international, on the ashes of the GP3 Series which will disappear in their current form.

The FIA F3 championship will further integrate the pyramid towards the F1 alongside the FIA F2, the rounds being contested in parallel with the F1 calendar. As for the 2019 line-up, the latter has just been confirmed by the promoter this Monday evening.

Most of the teams already aligned in FIA F2, ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Carlin, Charouz Racing System, MP Motorsport, Prema Racing and Trident, will be there and will be joined by Jenzer Motorsport, regular in the GP3 Series, Hitech, view in FIA F3 in recent seasons, and especially HWA Racelab.

The entity, which will also begin in Formula E from December 15, is diversifying its activities a little more, for a structure which remains particularly known for having managed the commitment of Mercedes en DTM ces dernières années.

Each team will field three cars, bringing the grid to 30 cars. This car will be unveiled on the sidelines of the F1 final in Abu Dhabi and the first copies will be available from January 2019 for the teams; A shakedown will then be organized on an as yet undetermined date.

Remember that several regional F3 championships will also be organized in 2019, the European version being managed by the Italian ACI.
