Building on his victory in Race 1 Saturday, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) will aim for the pass of two this Sunday morning at the Nürburgring. The Frenchman will start from pole position.
The reigning vice-champion of the category hit hard as he set a new track record in the category, in 1'54"280. He will therefore start on pole for race 2 ahead of Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech) and Caio Collet (R-Ace GP), to whom he is half a second behind.
The two JD Motorsport drivers, who shone at Imola during the last meeting, qualified 5th and 6th with David Vidales and William Alatalo. Frenchman Hadrien David (MP Motorsport) continues his discovery of the category with the 13th best time. His compatriot Reshad de Gerus (Arden) qualified 16th.
