The 2017 calendar for the F3 European Championship confirmed by the FIA ​​World Council includes one less French round with the disappearance of the Paul-Ricard meeting.

F3 will not go to Paul-Ricard in 2017

If all the dates on the 2017 calendar of the F3 European Championship have not been finalized, the FIA ​​World Council has confirmed most of the meetings for the next season. The opening will take place in Great Britain on a circuit which remains to be determined on a date also unknown. The discipline will then return to Monza (Italy) to replace Imola before going to Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantique) on the weekend of May 21.

On the other hand, the second French round contested this year at Paul-Ricard (Var) will disappear for 2017. The calendar will still include ten rounds with three trips to Germany (Norisring, Nürburgring and Hockenheim), one round at Zandvoort (Netherlands), in Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), on the Hungaroring (Hungary) and in Spielberg (Austria).

The FIA ​​World Council has also confirmed that the F3 World Cup will still be contested in Macau on the weekend of November 19.
