Formula Renault Eurocup begins at Monza

The formula Renault launched in 1971 is finally entering its 50th season after the pandemic period which delayed the Losange program.

The field only includes 18 drivers for this first round, but France will still be well represented with Hadrien David at MP Motorsport, Victor Martins at ART Grand Prix and Reshad de Gerus at Arden.

The meeting begins this Thursday with the first practice sessions and the first qualifications. The second qualifying session will follow on Friday with Race 1 and Race 2 contested on Saturday.

Last year, Ugo de Wilde and Alexander Smolyar were the two winners of the Italian meeting. The Belgian now hired by Arden will be there again.
