Lance Stroll takes C1 pole at Imola

Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) is getting a little closer to the title in F3 European Championship six races from the end of the season. The contender for the starting position at Williams Racing took pole for Race 1 at Imola (Italy) with a lap completed in 1'36''001 while its opponent for the title and teammate Maximilian Günther only set the 17th fastest time.

The Championship leader will start on pole ahead of Motopark drivers Sergio Sette Camara and Niko Kari. George Russell (HitechGP) will complete the second row of the grid ahead of Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing). The Frenchman in seventh position in the Drivers' standings will start ahead of Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) and Joel Eriksson (Motopark).
