Lariche impatient to be at Magny-Cours

If the Frenchman managed to get into the points for the first time at Silverstone by taking 10th place in the second event, his ambitions seem to be aimed at another level of performance. Benjamin Lariche hopes to shine on his land, during the next round of the F2 which will be contested at Magny-Cours from May 13 to 15.

“I've been looking forward to racing at Magny-Cours since I signed my second season in F2,” admits the Frenchman on formulatwo.com. “ I haven?t driven there since June 2009 when I was in Formula Renault 2.0. It will be really exciting to race at home and I hope to forget my disappointment at Silverstone. »

Benjamin Lariche already knows which turns will be conducive to overtaking. “ The most important corner is Estoril because it is long, fast and precedes a long straight. It can therefore be costly in qualifying or in the race if it is approached incorrectly. », Explains the Frenchman. “ Imola is another corner where you can save or lose time. You don't see anything before the bend and it's a very fast passage. »

Benjamin Lariche currently occupies 14th place in the Championship, tied with the British Tom Gladdis.
