The first calendar of the new FIA F3 confirmed

2019 will be the year of change for the FIA F3. The “European Championship” version seen so far and the GP3 Series will give way to a new FIA F3 International, the calendar of which was revealed this Wednesday by the latest World Motor Sport Council.

Eight events will be on the menu for the drivers and teams entered, all organized as part of the Grands Prix de Formula 1. A very European calendar, since Sochi in Russia will be the furthest destination.

Barcelona will open the season before a second French round at Paul Ricard at the end of June. Please note that Monaco is not part of the program. Russia and Sochi will serve as the concluding theater.

FIA F3 2019 Calendar:

May 10-12: Spain – Barcelona
June 22-23: France – Paul Ricard
June 28-30: Austria – Red Bull Ring
July 12-14: Great Britain – Silverstone
August 2-4: Hungary – Hungaroring
August 30-September 1: Belgium – Spa-Francorchamps
September 6-8: Italy – Monza
September 27-29: Russia – Sochi
