The new Formula Renault Eurocup on track

The new Formula Renault Eurocup performed their first shakedown this Friday on the Cremona circuit (Italy). Several teams were able to discover these single-seaters meeting the regulations F3 with Tatuus chassis and Renault 1.8l turbo 270hp engines.

 

 

The teams received the new mounts this Wednesday, two days before the shakedown where eight of the ten teams were present for the shakedown. AVF by Adrian Vallés and JD Motorsport were unable to participate in this session.    

 

 

Arden Motorsport was present with Patrick Pasma, BhaiTech Racing with Federico Malvestiti (confirmed), FA Racing by Drivex with David Gonzalez, Global Racing Service with Xavier Lloveras, M2 Competition with Ricky Collard, MP Motorsport with Lorenzo Colombo (confirmed), R-ace GP with Oscar piastri (confirmed) and Tech 1 Racing with Frank Bird. The teams had to face conditions mixing rain and cold.  

The teams will receive the rest of the cars in the coming weeks before preparing for the season during collective tests organized at Magny-Cours (March 5-7), Paul-Ricard (March 15-16) and Monza (April 2-3). ).
