The W Series on the sidelines of F1 in the United States and Mexico

This is a new exhibition that the W Series will offer this year. Series car reserved for female drivers will be able to count on the addition of two rounds across the Atlantic to its calendar with meetings in Austin in the United States and in Mexico.

These two meetings will be organized alongside the Grands Prix F1, scheduled for October 23 to 25 in Texas, and a week later at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.

The American and Mexican races will conclude a calendar now comprising eight rounds, and focused on Europe at the start of the campaign, alongside the events of DTM.

“We are convinced that our sport must provide equal opportunities for men and women to compete together, says Ross Brawn, Director of Motor Sports at Liberty Media. It is no coincidence that improving the diversity of the F1 grid by supporting and promoting talent from under-represented backgrounds is one of our strategic objectives. »
