Lorenzo Colombo scores the double at Castellet

Imperial on Saturday, Lorenzo Colombo (MP Motorsport) repeated his performance at Le Castellet this Sunday, signing pole position and victory during the second day of Formula Renault Eurocup on the Var track.

The Italian outrageously dominated the competition today, quickly escaping to the front of the peloton after controlling the start against Oscar piastri (R-ace GP) which was missing its activation. Colombo finally crossed the finish line nine seconds ahead of Alexander Smolyar (R-ace GP) and Victor Martins (MP Motorsport).

The Frenchman remains in control of the general classification with three points ahead of Smolyar and nine over Piastri.
