Macau: Wittmann prepares for a fight

Marco Wittmann easily won in the qualifying race on Saturday in Macau, only being worried by Felipe Nasr (Carlin) in the Lisboa corner on the first lap. However, the Signature driver knows that the real battle for victory in the event will take place tomorrow and that the competitors will be ready to take many more risks on this urban circuit where overtaking maneuvers are perilous.

“It's always good to win but I'm not going to celebrate because it's just a qualifying race”, comments the winner. ?Tomorrow?s race is the most important and this is the one I want to win. It's important to get a good start because you never know who will be in the lead at the Lisboa corner. Tomorrow?s event will be much more aggressive. Everyone is more confident with the circuit and the conditions but it's the same for me. »
