Oscar Piastri scores the double at Silverstone in the FR Eurocup

Unlike the day before, Oscar piastri made a perfect takeoff to maintain the lead against Alexander Smolyar and Victor Martins. Behind, Caio Collet took the advantage over Lorenzo Colombo while Kush Maini gained two positions to move up to sixth place.

In the peloton, the start of the race was driven by the comebacks of Amaury Cordeel (MP Motorsport), who started last, and Petr Ptáček (Bhaitech Racing), who had lost seven places on the first lap. Sixth-placed Kush Maini preceded Callan O'Keeffe, but the South African was found guilty of gaining an advantage by leaving the track at Copse to pass Ugo de Wilde on lap thirteen. Ugo de Wilde then regained his seventh place ahead of Callan O'Keeffe, Yves Baltas and João Vieira.
