Raffaele Marciello leads first F3 tests

Raffaele Marciello established the reference time for the tests of the F3 European Championship at the Catalunya circuit. The Italian resident of the Prema Powerteam completed a lap this morning in 1'41"023, four tenths ahead of his teammate Alex Lynn. William Buller (ThreeBond with T-Sport) took third place ahead of Mäns Grenhagen (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sven Müller (ma-con), both drivers eight tenths behind the reference time.

Lucas Auer allowed Prema Powerteam to showcase its colors in the afternoon, the Austrian completing the lap of the Barcelona circuit in 1'41"758. The new hope of the Carlin team Harry Tincknell is not far away since the Briton fails 66 thousandths behind the Austrian. His compatriots Alex Lynn and Jordan King (Carlin) follow closely ahead of Pascal Wehrlein (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport).

Testing continues tomorrow before the discipline heads to Monza for the second session scheduled for March 18 and 19.
