Deprived of pole for not having slowed down under yellow flag in his fast lap, Gianluca Petecof (Prema) finished 2nd from 3rd position after surprising Arthur Leclerc (Prema) when the lights went out. The Brazilian took the opportunity to take three points from his Monegasque opponent in the fight for the title and is now only thirteen points behind. Leclerc (3rd) completes the podium.
Starting 5th, the Frenchman Gillian Henrion (Private Team) had a superb race, managing to stay in the heart of the peloton (6th). His compatriot Pierre-Louis Chovet (Van Amersfoort) finished just behind him but was only classified 11th after receiving a 5-second penalty.
