Who said it was a two-person fight for the title, between Arthur Leclerc and Gianluca Petecof? Despite 35 points behind the championship lead, their teammate Oliver Rasmussen (Prema) struck a big blow this Saturday morning by completely relaunching himself in the fight for the coronation. The Dane indeed took the three poles of the weekend with authority.
The Dane is the strong man at the end of the season. The operation is all the more beautiful for Rasmussen as the leader Gianluca Petecof only qualified 5th and 4th. The disappointment of the day is for Arthur Leclerc. The Monegasque, victim of a mechanical problem, did not complete a single lap and will start in 11th and last position in the three races of the weekend. The Monegasque could lose big and will have to make big comebacks to maintain his chances.
On the French side, Pierre-Louis Chovet (Van Amersfoort) will aim for the podiums since he qualified in 3rd, 5th and 4th position. Also note the 4th place in Q1 of Jamie Chadwick (Prema), who we had not seen in this position since the start of the season.
