Roberto Merhi at home in Valencia

Will this 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season be Spanish? After the first two rounds of the season (Castellet and Hockenheim), Roberto Merhi and Daniel Juncadella occupy third and fourth places in the general classification, behind the two Signature-Volkswagen drivers, Edoardo Mortara and Marco Wittmann.

Roberto Merhi (Mücke Motorsport), if he played a full season in F3 Euro Series in 2009, only won his first race in the last round, at Hockenheim. While the discipline occurs this weekend in Valencia, Spain, the Iberian driver wants to confirm.

« In Valencia, I am at home, I live only 100 km from the circuit, says Merhi. This weekend, many friends, acquaintances and fans will be there to encourage me. My goal is clear: I want to win the race. My first victory, at Hockenheim, will not be the last. During the season I want to win as many races as possible, because my goal is always to win the title. »

This weekend, however, he will have to be wary of his compatriot Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam), less experienced but who has already stood out at the start of the season, notably achieving the first pole of the year.
