Shwartzman ends the 2018 season with a victory

Starting from pole position, Robert Schwartzman (Prema Racing) had no competition for this third race, quickly taking a lead of several seconds over the new champion Mick Schumacher (Prema Racing).

The German was the driving force for a long time for the first part of the top 10 but ultimately did not give in to the attacks of Alex Palou (Hitech GP) who completed the podium. Ralf Aron (Prema Racing) and Dan Ticktum (Motopark) follow each other in 4e and 5th place ahead of Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Racing) and Ferdinand Habsurg (Carlin).

Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) finishes 8e ahead of Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) and Jüri Vips (Motopark) who completes the top 10 after a long battle with Sophia Flörsch (Van Amersfoort). Sacha Fenestraz (Carlin) was the victim of another retirement in the first round.

The championship therefore ends with Mick Schumacher champion with 365 points, 59 points more than Dan Ticktum in second place. Thanks to a very solid second half of the season, Robert Shwartzman ranks 3e and rookie champion while Marcus Armstrong (Prema Racing) after three retirements for this catastrophic weekend ranks 5e in the ranking behind Jüri Vips. Sacha Fenestraz finishes in 11the instead.
