Sophia Flörsch gave reassuring news after his operation carried out last Monday at the Conde S. Januario Hospital in Macau where she is being treated in particular for a fracture of the 7th vertebra in the spine, a consequence of her terrible crash at the Macau Grand Prix.
“I survived the operation which took a good 11 hours, indicated the resident of Van Amersfoort Racing on Instagram. I hope it only gets better now. I have to stay in Macau for a few more days until I am transportable. I want to thank all my fans for all the messages of support that I am starting to read. It really motivates me and helps me have courage. »
“My thoughts are with everyone involved in the accident. I hope everyone is healthy. There were very nice people there who I will remember. Thank you for these encouraging and calming words during these long minutes in my car. Many thanks also to the Macau hospital service for their friendly and professional treatment…”
Sophia Flörsch ended her post with a message full of optimism for the future of her motorsport career: “I will be back… Dallara has created a very strong chassis”.
