An agent looking for new talent

For almost fifteen years, the German Werner Heinz has been struggling to find increasingly juicy incentives and contracts for the stars, athletes and actors, who form his team. In 2009, he embarked on a new adventure by giving birth to Kolles & Heinz Auto which will be lined up on the starting lines in F3 Euro Series.

“I wanted to help young drivers,” says Heinz. “It is increasingly difficult to find funding. With Colin Kolles, we decided to combine our skills. He has all the infrastructure and numerous contacts in the world of motor sports. This combination seemed perfect to me. »

Colin Kolles had led the Jordan team, which became Midland, Spyker and Force India in F1 and between 2005 2008.

Thanks to the support of Volkswagen, whose involvement in the discipline is increasingly visible, Kolles & Heinz Auto will aim for “as much success as possible” from its first season. Mike Krack, a former F1 engineer, will play the role of team manager and the Dutchman Carlo Van Dam, former winner of the German F3 Cup and reigning Japanese Champion, will be the flag bearer of the new team.

“This championship is the most competitive for young drivers,” continues the agent/owner who admits that he will closely monitor the performances of all the competitors. “Almost half of the F1 field comes from the F3 Euro Series, this is where we can see if a driver can go far. »

The name of Carlo Van Dam?s teammate has not yet been revealed.
