Venturi and Leonardo DiCaprio team up in Formula E

Venturi is the last team on the Formula E field whose ten teams are now known. The Monegasque team was founded by Gildo Pallanca Pastor who joined forces with star Leonardo DiCaprio to form the Venturi Grand Prix Formula E Team also with Bert Heyada and Francesco Costa. “The future of the planet depends on our ability to adopt clean vehicles”, commented the actor. “Venturi Grand Prix had a great idea in creating an environmentally friendly racing team and I am happy to be part of it. »

This choice is logical for Venturi Automobiles, which specializes in the development of electric vehicles, notably holding the speed record (495km/h) with this type of propulsion. Additionally, the brand wants to become a full-fledged Formula E manufacturer in the second season. “Venturi has been a pioneer in high-performance electric vehicles for over a decade and Formula E offers us a fantastic opportunity to enhance our cutting-edge motorsport technologies by racing around the world. The ten Formula E teams will therefore be: Drayson Racing (Great Britain), China Racing, Andretti Autosport (USA), Dragon Racing (USA), e.dams (France), Super Aguri (Japan), Audi Sport ABT ( Germany), Mahindra Racing (India), Virgin Racing (Great Britain) and finally Venturi (Monaco).
