Marco Wittmann (Signature) and Nigel Melker (Mücke Motorsport) will start from pole for the third and first race of the F3 Euro Series at Zandvoort.

Wittmann and Melker on pole at Zandvoort

Marco Wittmann beat all the drivers in the peloton to set the best time in the qualifying session (1:29:602). The German will start at the head of the third race of the meeting of F3 Euro Series. He is ahead of Nigel Melker, who will start from pole tomorrow for the first race of the weekend.

The Signature driver is happy to once again set the best time at the end of qualifying. “ The session went well and I can only be satisfied to be the fastest for the second time this season », Explains the German. “ I expect the races to be tough on the tires, but I'm optimistic for all three races. »

Nigel Melker is happy to set the second qualifying time, significant for pole in the first race, on his home soil. “ I did not expect this. I'm really satisfied because that's what I was hoping for when riding at home. My car was great and the team did a superb job », Comments the Dutchman.

The start of the first race will take place tomorrow at 11:15 a.m.
