Formula 2 gains a second

F2 champion in 2009, Andy Soucek participated in the development of Formula 2 which will be fielded this year. Called JPH1B, this new single-seater built by Williams will be lighter and more powerful.

La F2 of 2010 should progress at the aero level (+20% downforce). The overall mass is announced to be down by 25 kg. The adoption of a new turbo allows the engine to go from 400/425 to 450/480 horsepower.

The tires will be wider at the front and made of softer rubber.

The 2010 Formula 2 season will begin at the Silverstone circuit on April 16.
