There will be five young men to wear the colors of the French FFSA Circuit Team for the 2022 season. Already sponsored by the French Motor Sport Federation in 2021, Theo Pourchaire (Formula 2), Victor Martins (Formula 3), Hadrien David (FRECA) and Isack Hadjar (Formula 3) are joined by the young Esteban Masson (FRECA), aged 17.

« Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Romain Grosjean, simon pagenaud, Jean-Éric Vergne… Many drivers who shine today in the biggest championships on the planet have in their time defended the colors of the FFSA, explains Nicolas Deschaux, President of the FFSA. This testifies to the effectiveness of our training sector and its path of excellence which has for years supported the best French talents towards the highest level of their discipline.

With Théo, Victor, Isack, Hadrien and Esteban, we have a very promising succession which, I am sure, will carry the tricolor colors high in FIA F2, FIA F3 and FRECA. In the footsteps of their elders, I wish all five of them an excellent 2022 season.”

Christophe Lollier, the National Technical Director (DTN) for the FFSA, indicates that the quintet is located “in teams that have the potential to win the championships in which they are entered. It should also be emphasized that our five selected drivers have all gone through the FFSA Academy French F4 Championship, which demonstrates that our sports elevator is working. »

Jean Alesi, who will once again assume the role of Captain of the French FFSA Circuit Team, clarified the future of his son Giuliano, who was included in the French Team in 2021. “Aside from the 2022 collective, now under professional contract in Japan in Super Formula and GT500, Giuliano Alesi will continue to display the French Team crest FFSA Circuit this season. I am hopeful that titles will reward the talent of the French hopefuls who will wear our colors in international disciplines. »
