They will start in two of the first three places on the starting grid. Alexander Sims and Adrien Tambay are the two drivers who achieved the two best performances in the qualifying session. The Norisring, the “German Monaco” as it is nicknamed across the Rhine, effectively highlighted, before the two races of the weekend, the performances of two young drivers who still have everything to prove. Especially since they have the chance to be part of the two finest teams in the Formula 3 Euroseries, Mücke Motorsport and ART Grand Prix. Their performance will therefore be one to watch in the first race, late Saturday morning.
Sandwiched between the two men, Jules Bianchi will have a good chance to play. The Frenchman will be able to use his experience to hope to win this fifth race of the championship. Leader in the general classification, he thus has the opportunity to distance himself from serious rivals like Merhi, Bird, Vernay and Vietoris.
