Macau: Vernay satisfied

Jean-Karl Vernay (Signature) was at ease in Macau, climbing to second place on the starting grid for the Grand Prix of the former Lusitanian province. The French driver improved throughout the weekend, until appearing on provisional pole during the second part of qualifying, before Marcus Ericsson (Tom?s) managed to recover his property.

« It's the first time I've come to Macau, my goal was to do as many laps as possible to get used to the circuit, confides the Frenchman after his good second qualifying session. My car is impeccable and I am very happy with this second place. »

However, nothing is decided since, this Saturday, the drivers of F3 will set off for the qualifying race. At the end of this, the classification will make it possible to establish the starting grid for Sunday's race.

The French show themselves in Macau as Jules Bianchi, Formula 3 Euro Series champion, places himself in seventh position on the starting grid for the qualifying race. However, he was beaten by more than a second by his young teammate Valtteri Bottas – and whose manager has just acquired the capital of Williams F1 -, who established himself as the best rookie this year in the F3 Euro Series.
