Renault Sport has presented a new version of the Formula Renault Eurocup calendar, with the addition of a round at Magny-Cours.

Magny-Cours added to the Formula Renault Eurocup calendar

After the various cancellations resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, Renault Sport had to adapt to review its 2020 calendar for the Formula Renault Eurocup.

Le Losange presented a new provisional version this Friday, with the arrival of Magny-Cours in September, at the heart of a meeting already bringing together GT World Challenge Europe, FFSAGT or even Porsche Carrera Cup.

The series kicks off at Monza in July, before a detour to Imola at the end of the same month. A round at the Nürburgring will follow on the sidelines of the GT World Challenge Europe at the beginning of September before two other events still on the sidelines of the championship promoted by SRO Motorsports at Magny-Cours then Zandvoort.

Barcelona will begin the month of October before the meeting at Spa-Francorchamps on the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Spa. Hockenheim, Paul Ricard and the Yas Marina final in Abu Dhabi will conclude the season.

Note that an Esport series will be initiated on May 29 on the iRacing simulation. “The drivers and teams in the category will challenge themselves at the wheel of Formula Renault 3.5 on four legendary international circuits: Interlagos, Suzuka, Montreal and Austin. » Renault specifies.

October 22-24: Spa-Francorchamps circuit (Belgium)
November 6-8: Hockenheimring (Germany)
November 13-15: Circuit Paul Ricard (France)
November 26-28: Yas Marina Circuit (Abu Dhabi)
