Pau-F3: Marciello wins the first

After taking pole in Race 1, Raffaele Marciello got the start he needed to maintain his advantageous position in the streets of Pau. The Prema Powerteam driver led the race from start to finish despite the intervention of the safety car following the accident between Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam) and Pascal Werhrlein (Mücke Motorsport) at the Lycée corner.

The pilot of the Ferrari Driver Academy protected its position at the restart from the attacks of Jazeman Jaafar (Carlin) to take victory in the Saturday race. Alex Lynn (Fortec Motorsport) takes the last step of the podium, closely followed by Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) and a trio of Carlin drivers composed of Jack Harvey, Carlos Sainz Jr. and Harry Tincknell.
