Raffaele Marciello wins the Pau GP

Raffaele Marciello announced the color by taking the poles of the two races in the streets of Pau. The Prema Powerteam driver won the victory by once again maintaining the advantage of his position at the start to win this event which counts for the F3 European Championship. The Italian crossed the finish line with a lead of more than 13 seconds over Carlos Sainz Jr (Carlin) who went alongside him on the front line. “My car was perfect, a 40 minute race is really long here but the car was very easy to drive”, comments the winner.

Jazeman Jaafar (Carlin) takes the last step of the podium, preceding Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam). The two drivers have long threatened the Spaniard from the program Red Bull Junior Team without managing to take the advantage in the streets of Pau. Pipo Derani (Fortec Motorsport) completes the top five ahead of Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport), Alex Lynn (Fortec Motorsport) and Jack Harvey (Carlin).
