After the rain comes the good weather. But despite the change in conditions, Arthur Leclerc remains the strongest. After winning the first two races of the weekend in the rain at Mugello, the Monegasque signed a hat-trick of victories by also winning race 3 in front of his two teammates Gianluca Petecof and Oliver Rasmussen.
The Prema driver, however, got off to a bad start after an average takeoff which saw him fall back to third place at the end of the first straight. But a somewhat optimistic maneuver by Rasmussen on Petecof forced the Dane to take a turn on the grass and gave Leclerc 2nd place, before Charles' brother attacked Petecof at the end of the endless Mugello straight, thanks with a superb uncrossing.
While he had already taken the lead in the championship from his teammate Petecof this Sunday morning, the Monegasque took the opportunity to take a small lead of eight points at the top of the standings, while he was 22 units behind before this weekend at Mugello. On the French side, Pierre-Louis Chovet (VAR) finished 7th and remained 4th in the championship.
