Regional: First victory for Pasma

Patrik Pasma’s (KIC Motorsport) victory in race 1 at Monza is a double-header event. Firstly, it is the first success this season for the Finnish driver, victorious after starting from pole position, after Gianluca Petecof was removed due to a penalty in qualifying. But above all, it is the first time that a non-Prema driver has won a race this season in the Regional…

Deprived of pole for not having slowed down under yellow flag in his fast lap, Gianluca Petecof (Prema) finished 2nd from 3rd position after surprising Arthur Leclerc (Prema) when the lights went out. The Brazilian took the opportunity to take three points from his Monegasque opponent in the fight for the title and is now only thirteen points behind. Leclerc (3rd) completes the podium.

Starting 5th, the Frenchman Gillian Henrion (Private Team) had a superb race, managing to stay in the heart of the peloton (6th). His compatriot Pierre-Louis Chovet (Van Amersfoort) finished just behind him but was only classified 11th after receiving a 5-second penalty.
