Roberto Merhi, winner and outsider

Starting in fifth position in the second race of the weekend, Roberto Merhi started perfectly and overtook Antonio Felix da Costa on the third lap to fly to victory. “ I am naturally very happy to have won my first victory in Formula 3 Euro Series, which is also the first success of a Spanish driver ", says Merhi.

It's even a double for the Spanish colors since Daniel Juncadella, rookie who made a good start to the season, finished in second place. “ During the last laps, Daniel was getting closer and closer, continues Merhi.
