Signature confirms its good start

The season is off to a good start for Signature. And the first laps of the Eurospeedway (or Lausitzring) confirm the arrangements of the French team. Mika Mäki even had the luxury of dominating the paddock during the “pre-test” of the circuit, with a respectable sixth time during free practice in the afternoon. After his fourth places in the two Hockenheim races, the Finn can look forward to this second weekend with optimism.

The Frenchman Jean-Karl Vernay can hope to achieve good results on the Lausitzring. Winner of the second Hockenheim race, the Signature driver knew how to get to the forefront and resist the attacks of his pursuers. Second in the world championship with 9 points, the former resident of Red Bull Junior Team can hope to do well this season. Eighth in F3 Euroseries last year, the Frenchman is already on much better footing and is now a leader, after the departure of Mortara in GP2. This Friday, Vernay achieved the sixth and then the third time of the test sessions, proof that the Volkswagen engine of his Dallara can stand the comparison of the Mercedes of the majority of single-seaters.

With ART Grand Prix, another French team, and Mücke Motorsport, Signature should be one of the three best teams in the field once again this season. The Berruyère stable hopes to make this observation at the end of this second race weekend.
