Unlike in 2010, the Bourges-based team will now enter four VW-powered Dallaras in the European championship for the quartet of Laurens Vanthoor, Caros Munoz, Daniel Abt and Marco Wittmann. The latter, vice-champion of the previous exercise, will be with Vanthoor the second repeater of the team. Munoz was officiating for Mücke and finished 9th. As for Daniel Abt, rival of Tom Dillmann in F3 German last year, debuting in this discipline.

The trophy will be contested over six events open to cars from the English and Japanese championships, as well as Euroseries competitors. The points scale will be the same as that used in F1. An affiliation with the premier category is real since the first three drivers in the ranking will be awarded the Superlicence, a mandatory entry point for any driver wishing to compete in F1.
