Soucek shows up in Barcelona

The Spaniard Andy Soucek, champion since the Imola meeting, set the best time of the session in 1:38.910 ahead of Miloš Pavlović and Robert Wickens.

« I knew we were on pace but I didn't think we would go that fast ”said Soucek. “ Am I still in it this weekend? People were perhaps expecting me to relax but I want to win both races, it would be a first. There is a lot of work to do and I am fully focused on taking each session as it comes. »

Behind the leading trio, Frenchman Julien Jousse climbed to fourth position on the timesheet while his young compatriot Tristan Vautier impressed by setting the seventh time of the session for his first appearance in the discipline.
