Third pole in a row for Logan Sargeant

And three for Sergeant ! After taking pole position for the last two rounds at Silverstone, the American once again achieved the fastest lap in Barcelona. The Prema driver beat category regular, Briton Jake Hughes (HWA Racelab), and New Zealander Liam Lawson (Hitech). He takes the opportunity to take a five-point lead over his teammate Oscar piastri at the top of the championship.

Note that the last three minutes of the session took place under yellow flag in the second sector, following Alession Deledda (Campos) going off the road, preventing some drivers from having a final flying lap. Oscar Piastri, 2nd in the drivers' standings, will start in 4th place.

The two French people delivered a very interesting qualification with the 6th time of Clément Novalak (Carlin) and the 8th of Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix). Back in F3 at Carlin replacing Ben Barnicoat, Leo Pulcini immediately got into the rhythm by taking the 12th time of the session. Race 1 will take place on Sunday at 10:25 a.m.
